The burnside of northern Kentucky? Yep, talking about Newport under the 471 bridge. The skater made project under the 471 bridge has been going on awhile. I remember when there were just wooden ramps under the bridge and a few curbs. Even toy picnic tables and random obstacles brought out. Now there is a halfpipe, ledge, banks, quarters, and more.On facebook we have actually had peeps from burnside say they love what is going on and how it reminds them of burnside in it's birth stage. It takes a lot of hard work, planning, and yes money. Constant fund raisers, personal funding, and Gary Collins @ instrument boards donates a 2 bucks for every instrument deck bought. Without the inspiration of Andrew "highschool" Martin i wouldn't see this project ever kicking off.

I hope this article inspires people from around the world to take initiative to build in their area too. It is a learning process and hard work to no end. It takes planning to keep a flow and you need to look into the future.
